Sea Salt

Ever wondered how they get sea salt out of the sea? The answer presented itself to me as we were riding along a road crossing an estuary between Bachau and Morbi in Gujarat. You just trap some sea water in rice-paddy like beds and wait for the water to evaporate off. Then scrape the white salt crust it left behind off the floor, load it onto a truck and drive it to a refinery. Easy!
